Download Patches

Here you can download patches for manual patching, if you are running Windows XP with Service Pack 2. The patches update ssp.dll and sspNG.dll to fix a compatibility problem with SP2.

Follow these steps to apply patch for Offline Commander:

download the patch from here (ssp_xpsp2.dll, 192 KB) and save it in to a local folder

quit all instances of Offline Commander running on your computer

go to the folder where Offline Commander is installed (usually "c:\Program Files\Offline Commander")

backup the ssp.dll file

copy the ssp_xpsp2.dll file to the folder where Offline Commander is installed

rename the ssp_xpsp2.dll file to the ssp.dll

Follow these steps to apply patch for Internet Researcher:

download the patch from here (sspNG_xpsp2.dll, 192 KB) and save it in to a local folder

quit all instances of Internet Researcher running on your computer

go to the folder where Internet Researcher is installed (usually "c:\Program Files\Internet Researcher")

backup the sspNG.dll file

copy the sspNG_xpsp2.dll file to the folder where Internet Researcher is installed

rename the sspNG_xpsp2.dll file to the sspNG.dll
