Create Task bar
Use this toolbar instead of the  New Task dialog box to create a task
when you do not need all of the options provided by the New Task dialog.
- Show/Hide Folders Window: toggle Folders Window on/off.
- Address:Type in the starting address of the task you want to create.
- Depth:Specify the number of levels to download.
- Get/Change:Click on the button to create a new task or change
existing task respectively. Pressing Enter key on the keyboard
is equivalent to clicking on this button.
When you create tasks via Create Task bar and set the Depth to
anything other than 0 the program automatically
provides a default filter "Retrieve pages within this site only".
You can change the filter (as well as any other parameters of a task)
at any time via Task Properties dialog box.
To view Task Properties, select the task and click on Properties
button on the Task Toolbar.
If you want to retrieve a webpage and all links from the page, you
should also set the Depth of link exploration to 1. To download a
webpage, all pages linked to the page, and all pages linked to all those pages,
set the Depth to 2. Depth can be set as deep as 255. You can raise or lower the Depth for a task at any time. It is not
recommended though to set depths to a value more than 2 without specifying a
filter.
When you create a task through Create Task bar the task is created
with the default filter "Retrieve pages within this site only".
