Maximum number of concurrent Internet connections.
If the Average Speed in the Statistics Window is less than the maximum speed of
your Internet connection then increasing this value might speed up the download process.
If you experience a slow download, this may be due to several factors.
Either of the following may limit the throughput:
- You have a slow Internet connection.
- The server is slow or has a slow Internet connection.
- The server is overloaded.
Maximum number of concurrent Internet connections per server.
Increasing this value may speed up or slow down the download process.
Internet Standards prohibit setting this value higher than 2 connections
per server. If the number of simultaneous connections does not increase after setting Max Connections to a higher value, increasing this value may be the only way to speed up the download.
